Wednesday, February 5, 2025 British Airways is following through on its December promise of unveiling additional perks for its newly launched The Club loyalty program. The airline has now introduced a fresh ‘Bonus Tier Point’ initiative aimed at enhancing members’ ability to accumulate rewards more efficiently. This latest offer is available for bookings made on British Airways-coded flights from now until December 31, 2025.

Passengers flying from April 1, 2025, onwards can earn up to an extra 550 Tier Points per flight. Back in December, British Airways announced a revamp of how members accrue Tier Points, aiming to make the program more lucrative. The airline had committed to rolling out further updates, and this latest reward enhancement is part of that ongoing effort.



Replacing the previous Bonus Tier Point promotion, this new offer—requiring members to ‘opt in’—supports frequent flyers in attaining and maintaining their status, particularly those traveling in premium cabins. The airline is expected to maintain some form of Bonus Tier Point incentive alongside the standard earning structure, which grants 1 Tier Point for every £1 spent. With the transformation of the British Airways Executive Club into The British Airways Club, the airline has embraced a spend-based rewards system.

Members now earn both Avios and Tier Points based on their total expenditure. To benefit from this enhanced Tier Point reward, travelers must have opted into either the previous .
