Friday, November 8, 2024 British Airways is now accepting applications for 270 graduate and apprenticeship roles in areas such as customer service, aircraft maintenance, and, for the first time in 2024, digital. Selected candidates for the new Digital Graduate program will play a vital role in advancing British Airways’ £7 billion transformation initiative. This team will focus on modernizing and upgrading the company’s IT systems to enhance the digital experience for customers.

Graduates can opt for one of nine specialized two-year programs, including options in Engineering, Finance, and Commercial Business. Apprenticeships are available in 11 distinct paths, such as Business Professional and Ground Operations. Notably, three roles are open at UK locations: Customer Service Advisor in Manchester and Aircraft Maintenance positions at British Airways’ hangars in Glasgow and Cardiff.



Since the pandemic, applications for these graduate and apprenticeship opportunities have seen steady growth. In 2023, the airline received more than 20,000 applications—a jump of nearly 10,000 from the previous year. Graduate applications surged by 86%, and apprentice interest rose by 61%.
