One of the best beer festivals in Britain is returning to Birmingham for the first time in more than 40 years. The Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) will host The Great British Beer Festival at the NEC in August 2025 after a brief hiatus in 2024. The event is known for being the UK's premier beer festival and it will run in our city from August 5-9.

It's the first time that the event has been held in the West Midlands since 1983. Hundreds of different beers will be on offer at the event, which is in its 47th year. There will be different bars serving real cider and perry as well as cocktails.

Pub-style games and food will form part of the festivities too. The Caravan and Motorhome Club is operating a temporary campsite at the NEC for visitors to stay over.
