Emergency services were called to Scotman's Flash at around 3pm yesterday (Saturday, September 9). Efforts were made to rescue him from the water by members of the public, but he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene. Officers have said they do not believe there are any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, and they are supporting the boy's family at this time.
