Retail giant Next is remaining closed on Boxing Day. The fashion chain has branches on Festival Park and in Tunstall and Longton town centres as well as a discount store at Affinity Staffordshire, in Talke. It means the Boxing Day sale will be online-only on Thursday, December 26 and in-store from Friday, December 27.
It is not yet known when its online Christmas sale will be launched. The announcement comes as M&S is also closing its Wolstanton Retail Park and Affinity Staffordshire stores on Boxing Day. An M&S spokesman said: “Our stores, support centres and distribution centres will be closed on Boxing Day so colleagues can spend more time with loved-ones.
