Bowlus Bowlus, a luxury recreational vehicle company, has brought back the glamour of 1930s-era streamlined, aerodynamic riveted aluminum vehicles over the past decade. Today, they released a limited edition model aimed at true devotees with deep pockets.

The Bowlus 95th Anniversary Edition of the Endless Highways Series is a recreational vehicle limited to just 25 examples, available in two interior decor packages called "Falcon" and "Osprey." Falcon features a walnut and holly marine floor with mahogany seating. Osprey has oak and ivory marine flooring with cream seating.

These colors are a nod to Hawley Bowlus, who began the company in the 1930s and was one of the fathers of flight aerodynamics, who was inspired by birds that soar. Bowlus was a designer, engineer, and aircraft builder known for his role as Superintendent of Construction for the aircraft Spirit of St. Louis, which Charles Lindbergh would fly on the first transatlantic flight.

As a designer, Bowlus was intrigued by the growing market for lightweight travel trailers, and in 1934, he unveiled the Bowlus Road Chief. Bowlus later returned to aviation design and worked on the aircraft that would become the Lear Jet. The iconic Bowlus design and brand were resurrected a few years ago by Geneva Long, Founder, and CEO of the new iteration of Bowlus.

“It’s not every day you can celebrate something that is so tightly tied to everlasting and inspiring American innovation,” said Long in an email interview. “Hawley Bowlus built the Spirit of St. Louis and applied many of the principles he learned and created from his sailplane design to land travel.

This vision of creating a world to escape into, transforming the RVing experience from a means of transportation to an unforgettable holiday, is what we have done with the Endless Highways 95th Anniversary Edition.” Bowlus 95th Anniversary Edition of the Endless Highways. Bowlus The Endless Highways, first in production from 2016 - 2021, reframed lightweight luxury land travel upon its launch.

The return of the Bowlus Endless Highways continues that legacy and can be optioned to suit every RVers needs. It features Bowlus' most luxurious floor plan with elegant finishes, a large separate bedroom with convertible twins and a king bed, a luxury ensuite bathroom, and a spacious living room and kitchen. Something as simple as the curved Bowlus screen door takes over 100 hours to build, nearly double the time spent manufacturing an entire traditional RV.

It’s available exclusively on the 95th Anniversary Edition. Each of the 95th Anniversary Editions is badged, numbered, and signed by Long.
