Wednesday night, the Boston Celtics added yet another scoring outlet and talented guard to their roster after agreeing to a deal with former Miami Hurricanes superstar, according to Adrian Wojnarowski . The Celtics are currently coming off their 18th NBA championship after running through the eastern conference and defeating the Dallas Mavericks in five games. However, they are on their way to some intensive luxury tax penalties , yet still retained nearly the bulk of their roster from last season.

Now, making another addition after officially signing former Hurricanes star Lonnie Walker IV to a one-year deal for the 2024-25 season. The deal is an Exhibit 10, which will allow the Celtics to give a bonus to Walker if he is waived after training camp and plays for the team's G-League affiliate in Maine. Since then, he has signed his third consecutive one-year deal with a different team. In 2022 he averaged 11.7 points for the Los Angeles Lakers , and then last season he averaged 9.
