1 / 6 India succumbed to a 184-run loss in the fourth Test of the ongoing Border Gavaskar series. Chasing 340 to win the Test, India were bowled out on mere 155 in their second innings. The defeat means that India will now head to Sydney for the fifth and final Test trailing 1-2 in the five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

The series finale begins on January 3. Despite thumping Australia in the series opener in Perth by 295 runs, the team has struggled to put up a strong performance against the reigning World Test Champions. There have been questions raised on how the team has batted, bowled and fielded in the four Tests.

Jasprit Bumrah | The Indian pace ace has been the most consistent performer from either camp in the four Test so far. With 30 wickets, Bumrah is the leading wicket-taker in the series. Such has been Bumrah's performance in this series that he is 10 wickets clear from the second highest wicket taker Pat Cummins.

The 31-year-old has picked three five-wicket hauls in the series. Bumrah also showcased his leadership skills as it was under his captaincy that India notched a thumping 295-run win in the series opener in Perth. Irrespective of the series outcome, Bumrah is the frontrunner to win .
