On Thursday, August 8, Bombardier announced a new partnership with Alinghi Red Bull Racing. Bombardier will act as an official supplier for the team as they look to compete in the upcoming America's Cup. The partnership also comes ahead of the launch of the new Bombardier private jet , Global 8000, which will seemingly become the fastest business jet in the world.



The partnership between Bombardier and Alinghi Red Bull Racing will bring together "two teams devoted to pushing the boundaries, reaching the pinnacle of engineering and innovation in their pursuit to go faster, farther, and better, be it over the waves or in the skies." New partnership The aircraft features four living areas, a full kitchen, a dedicated crew rest area, and a zero-gravity chair. Oh, and it broke the sound barrier.

Bombardier reveals this new partnership in addition to existing partnerships with Red Bull sports teams. Over the past several years, Bombardier has been a main sponsor of the Red Bull Racing Team, which has won seven Formula One Drivers' Championships. This existing joint venture has led to a new partnership with Alinghi Red Bull Racing. This Swiss team is bringing an experienced sailing team to the 37th America's Cup, and it will seemingly be one of the top favorites in the event. Alinghi Red Bull Racing has already started off the sailing season with solid results in the Preliminary Regattas in Vilanova i La Gelru, Spain, and in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The Co-General Manager at Alinghi Red Bull Racing, Silvio Arrivabene, spoke about the new partnership. Arrivabene stated, "We at Alinghi Red Bull Racing are delighted and feel privileged to have Bombardier accompanying us in our quest for the 37th America’s Cup. Today, many of our designers have an aeronautical engineering background, so we share very much the same passion and vision with Bombardier.

And we are ready to take off together!" The upcoming release of the Global 8000 This partnership comes ahead of Bombardier's plans to certify and begin deliveries of the Global 8000. Bombardier believes that the new partnership links similar-minded companies, with Alinghi Red Bull Racing pushing the limits of nautical engineering to reach impressively high speeds. Bombardier also plans to push the limits of aerospace engineering with its newest business jet , the Global 8000.

The Global 8000 is an upgraded variant of the popular Global 7500, and it will have a further range and higher top speed. Bombardier hopes to certify the aircraft by the end of the year.
