Meet Greater Manchester Police Officer of the Year – PC Mohamed Amkeched who has made amongst the highest number of arrests as he works for keep the town safe for everyone. He is described as a highly dedicated as a Neighbourhood Beat Officer (NBO) who has set a high standard for his peers. In 2023, he made 52 arrests, the highest among NBOs in Bolton .
PC Amkeched was recognised for his efforts at a special award ceremony where police officers and staff have been recognised for their contributions to making the communities in Greater Manchester safer and in protecting those who live there – both on the front line and behind the scenes.
