New Delhi: United States Ambassador to India Eric Garcetti captivated attendees at the US embassy's Diwali celebrations with his impressive dance moves to the hit song "Tauba Tauba." A widely circulated video on X shows Garcetti grooving to the popular Bollywood track by Vicky Kaushal from the film "Bad Newz." Dressed in a beautiful brown Indian kurta and a red scarf, Garcetti showed his vibrant energy while sporting cool shades.
His performance included Bollywood-style dance moves as well as some lively bhangra steps. This isn’t the first time he has wowed people; last year, he was seen dancing to the iconic Shah Rukh Khan song "Chaiyya Chaiyy." Earlier Garcetti shared a heartfelt messages on X to commemorate the Festival of Lights, stressing the cultural significance of Diwali and the enduring bond between the United States and India.
"This Diwali, Indians, and Americans across Mission India are sharing these diyas that bring joy and blessings to all. Join us in the festivities as we celebrate the Festival of Lights with music, dance, festive cheer, and a grateful heart. On behalf of the U.
S. Mission in India, I wish everyone a very Happy Diwali," he wrote. In his earlier post, Garcetti had spoken about the White House Diwali Celebrations, "What a beautiful celebration of Diwali at the White House! As we celebrate the journey of light, we also honour the invaluable contributions of Indian Americans who deepen the US-India bond.
