The crash happened at the corner of Ramsey Road and The Waits in St Ives at around 2pm. A nearby resident, who did not want to be named, said the vehicle involved was a taxi.

They said the vehicle "crashed into the poles" while pedestrians walked nearby. A police spokesperson confirmed that the crash involved a single vehicle and described it as 'damage only'. They added: "An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
