Nollywood star actors, including Uche Jombo, Jennifer Eliogu, Bob-Manuel Udokwu, Nkem Owoh and Ebele Okaro will lead the cast of Nicolette Ndigwe-Kalu’s movie titled, ‘On Different Grounds’. The romantic comedy film directed by Mildred Okwo currently in its shooting stage, is a Nollywood and Bollywood cinematic fusion. Speaking in an interview with Saturday Beats , Nicolette Ndigwe-Kalu stated, “The movie is my way of fostering cultural cohesion through art and letting the world know that we are all more alike than we are different”.

Explaining her choice of Okwo as the director, Ndigwe-Kalu, said, “There aren’t many directors like her who would understand the nitty-gritty of the kind of story I wanted to tell, and bring the nuanced traditional African heart of it to life.”.
