The presenter has since turned her back on fame, and is now in a very different career. Katy, 53, fronted the CBBC show from 1995 until 2000, before then going on to join BBC One's Live & Kicking until 2001.

During her time on Blue Peter, she became known for her daredevil stunts – even becoming the first civilian to fly with the Red Arrows. The show opened several doors for Katy, and she went on to host Top of the Pops, Football Fever, BBC's Holiday and her own weekend show on Capital FM. Katy regular contributed to magazines such as Cosmopolitan Hair & Beauty, Hello! and Closer, and in 2004 she took part in the Channel 4 show The Games, coming in second place.

Later on in her career, she hosted radio shows for Heart Radio, wrote weekly blogs and was a relief presenter on ITV's Daybreak. However, Katy is no longer a regular on our TV screens. She now works as a life coach, having started up her own business.

She describes herself as an 'Internationally Certified Success & Confidence Coach' and regularly shares uplifting content on social media. Katy has her own newsletter, The Limitless List, which provides inspirational quotes and messages. She also runs programmes, live groups and 1:1 coaching to support her members.

Katy's Instagram bio reads: "The shy kid who refused to play small & spent 30 years on TV! Now empowering women like YOU to UNLOCK your CONFIDENCE & CLAIN the SUCCESS you deserve!" Katy is happily married to Trey Farley, who she previously hosted Live and Kicking with. The couple have been married for over 20 years and share two children, Kaya and Akira. Katy and Trey celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in July, with the ex-TV star sharing a gushing tribute to her husband on social media.

She shared snaps from their nuptials and penned: "20 Years of US! 20 Years of Mr & Mrs Farley! What a ride we’re on @rocaflix ...

nobody else I’d rather be doing LIFE with! Happy 20 babe! Let’s make more amazing memories! X (Ours was the Hans Zimmer version - obvs!)" Prior to marrying Trey, Katy was married to her childhood sweetheart Andrew Frampton. They tied the knot in 1999 but divorced in 2001..
