Pune: The chargesheet in the Porsche Taycan crash case and the chemical analyser's (CA) report showed connivance between the two applicants (accused) and two doctors (now suspended) from Sassoon General Hospital in swapping the blood samples of the two minors accompanying the teenage driver, to manipulate their blood alcohol tests , special judge Uttam Mudholkar said on Thursday while rejecting two bail applications. Police had on Aug 20 arrested an aviation spares firm owner and a jeweller-cum-realtor on charges of manipulating the blood alcohol tests of the two accompanying minors. The firm owner is the father of one of these minors and the jeweller is a friend of the other minor's father, who is also wanted in the case.

The two accused had applied for regular bail after their police remand was over and they were sent to jail under judicial custody. Judge Mudholkar, in his 31-page order, said, "It is true that the applicants have no connection with the accident involving the teenager. The two accompanying minors are not children in conflict with the law, but these two aspects would not help the duo in seeking regular bail.



" The court said the investigation against the applicants is in a preliminary stage and there is sufficient material on record to infer their complicity in the criminal conspiracy and forgery, which are non-bailable sections punishable by up to life imprisonment. The duo's complicity in the crime emerged after the police filed a chargesheet against the pre.
