Blake Lively has shared the heartfelt gesture Ryan Reynolds made at the start of their relationship. Lively and Reynolds first crossed paths on the set of Green Lantern in 2010, but they didn't reveal their romance until October 2011. The couple tied the knot on September 9, 2012, in a private ceremony in South Carolina.
Now, they are parents to four adorable children and frequently share glimpses of their family life with fans. Although the pair never fall short of teasing each other and appear to have a laid-back relationship, Lively revealed how Reynolds made a special effort to impress her at the start of their relationship. Lively, 36, who is currently promoting the new film It Ends With Us, in which she stars, told People Magazine : "When my husband and I first got together, he would send me a bouquet of flowers every week.
" "But he would always send a card and it would just be a sentence of something that had happened that week. Something funny or emotional that one of us said." She continued to gush over her husband and added: "It was just a little quote of the week.
It was such a beautiful, romantic thing. Now we have 4,000 children!" Meanwhile, Ryan, 47, has been busy promoting the new action film Deadpool & Wolverine, where he stars alongside Hugh Jackman as his famous alter-ego. Just last week, Blake joined her husband at the New York premiere of the latest MCU film where she showed her support.
The loved-up couple share three daughters - James, Betty, and Ine - and one son, Olin. They have largely kept their children out of the public eye, only recently revealing the name and gender of their youngest child. Blake welcomed their son in February 2023.
The news comes after Blake shared her excitement with her fans as she praised Ryan for being the "most romantic man on the planet." Taking to her Instagram page, Blake wrote a heartfelt message about him, writing: "No one will ever know what this moment meant to me. No.
