Sure, and Justin Timberlake's coordinating denim ensembles that the then-couple wore to the 2001 American Music Awards might be the first thing that springs to mind, but a close second will no doubt be 's “Dirrty” era. Reminisce with us, if you will.

The year is 2002 and Christina has just released her dance floor hit, accompanied by a music video in which she wears a red and white striped bikini top with a pair of black and red leather chaps. So iconic was the look that one year for Halloween, and Christina herself even for the 2021 People's Choice Awards. Well, it seems is the latest to channel the “Dirrty” aesthetic for her latest press stop as she continues to promote her new film, .

The actress and Blake Brown Beauty founder stepped out in New York yesterday [Monday 5 August] wearing a brown patent leather tank top tucked into blue jeans that featured black leather chap fronts from Stella McCartney's Resort 2025 collection. Having implemented throughout the promo tour with floral outfits – Blake's character in the film adaptation of 's novel of the same name is a flower shop owner named Lily Bloom, FYI – her latest ensemble stayed true to the theme with flower embroidery embellishing the top of the black leather. The throwback look followed an earlier outfit that was equally edgy compared to Blake's previous whimsical , an overtly feminine and a tailored that was giving more businesswoman than bad-ass.

For an appearance on the CBS Morning Show, Blake went braless under a black leather jacket painted with brightly coloured flowers. She paired it with matching black leather Bermuda shorts featuring the same painted decoration. Black heeled sandals with bejewelled studded straps completed the look.

Yep, these might just be our favourites of Blake's floral 'fits. Turns out, this flower’s got thorns..
