The Chicago Blackhawks are coming off an embarrassing loss to the St. Louis Blues in the Winter Classic. Following the effort and Kyle Davidson's reported blowup on the team, the roster is looking a bit different already heading into the home tilt with the Montreal Canadiens on Friday.
Per the team, forward Colton Dach has been recalled from the Rockford IceHogs. To open a roster spot, Joey Anderson was sent to Rockford. the Dachtor is in⚕️ https://t.

At the time, Dach was united with his brother, Kirby, as members of the organization. However, once Kyle Davidson took over as general manager, Kirby Dach was traded to the Canadiens for the first round pick that became Frank Nazar. In 30 games at the AHL level this season, Colton Dach has accounted for 25 points (12 goals, 13 assists), second-best on the IceHogs roster .
As a reward for his play, Dach is getting his first taste of NHL action and will likely play on Friday. Ironically, he will play his first NHL game against his brother's Canadiens. As a result, Lukas Reichel was an extra in practice on Thursday.
Although there is uncertainty about why Reichel is the odd man out, at what point does the flash of his promise fade? Regardless, Dach will be getting a chance to skate with Frank Nazar and Teuvo Teravainen on Friday. The Blackhawks and Canadiens will do battle in Original 6 fashion .
