Brandon Meyer stepped into enemy territory at BKFC KnuckleMania 5 and laid waste to local Philadelphia favorite Zed Montanez. The lightweights wasted no time throwing bombs at each other but the end came in dramatic fashion with Montanez charging forward with a flurry of punches looking to overwhelm his opponent. In return, Meyer just stepped back and unleashed a perfectly timed counter left hand that absolutely demolished Montanez.

“Whenever I’m the underdog, it just motivates me,” Meyer shouted to the crowd. “Because you think I can’t win. I’m one of the most elite bare-knuckle fighters in the world!” While he had to take out a hometown fighter, the crowd in Philadelphia still showed Meyer some love for his handiwork after he delivered a jaw-dropping knockout for the ages.

It was an impressive set up as Meyer weathered the early storm and then just waited for Montanez to overextend himself with his aggression. That’s exactly how the fight played out with Meyer biding his time until he found a home for the brutal left hand that ended Montanez’s night. Meyer moves to 3-2 in BKFC with the win but it’s tough to imagine he.
