Prayagraj: BJP ’s district unit has chalked out an elaborate plan to hoist the national flag on around 2 lakh households and buildings to celebrate ‘ Har Ghar Tiranga ’ on the occasion of Independence Day in Sangam city . Party leaders and workers are being assigned to connect with the masses through door to door campaign with the objective of hoisting the tricolour in every household and commercial building across the district on August 13, 14, and 15. BJP spokesman Rajesh Kesarwani told TOI, “Party workers have been organising a series of events including Har Ghar Tiranga and Tiranga Yatra on Independence Day for the last several years.

From August 12 to 14, a cleanliness programme will be organised around the statues and memorials of great men, and party officials, workers, and public representatives will pay their grateful tribute by garlanding the statues of martyrs and great men.” On August 11, 12, and 13, the workers of BJYM (Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha) will take out Tiranga Yatra in all 12 assembly seats of the district. Moreover, the party will also observe August 14 as ‘Vibhajan Vibhishika Smriti Diwas’ (the tragic event of India’s Partition.



For this, the party, apart from holding exhibitions and seminars in the district, will also take out a silent march to explain the history of Partition. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 112th edition of the Mann Ki Baat programme, wherein he said that the day of 15 August is not far away and now another campaign has been added to 15 August called - Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan, party leadership is running from pillar to post to make event successful. The party has also prepared a detailed district-level action plan for the campaign with the resolution of Har Ghar Tiranga on Independence Day on August 15.

On Wednesday itself, BJP organised a workshop to ensure a successful campaign. Moreover, meetings will be held at the Mandal level on Thursday and Friday where the leaders would be discussing plans to make the Tiranga Abhiyan successful up to the booth level. Focus has been laid to encourage citizens of the City to hoist at every house of every booth.

He encouraged people to hoist the national flag at their homes from August 9 to August 15 and to share selfies on the campaign's website. Singh emphasized the importance of inspiring others to join the initiative.
