Prayagraj: Samajwadi Party (SP) state president Shyamlal Pal on Sunday said that the strength of the PDA forced the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to form a weak govt at the centre in the recently concluded parliamentary polls. He added, "Those who gave the slogan of ‘abki bar 400 par' could not even get the majority at the centre." Pal was addressing a public meeting organised at village Dev Nahri in support of party Phulpur by-poll candidate Mujtaba Siddiqui on Sunday.
Pal accused BJP of conspiring to end reservation in jobs , promoting privatisation, failing to tackle rising inflation, unemployment and paper leaks. Pal described the BJP as a party that works to spoil mutual harmony in the country and divide people by creating discrimination. INDIA bloc candidate Mujtaba Siddiqui appealed for support by promising to maintain mutual harmony by carrying out all-round development of the area.
