The list was posted on the Grammys’ website on Thursday, Oct. 3, highlighting a slew of female acts that are “set to fill the yearn of the audience for another global girl group takeover.
” Putting BINI as the fourth group on the list, the Grammys noted that P-pop is becoming one of the fastest-growing music markets amid the global domination of K-pop, with members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna and Sheena spurring the music revolution. “First seen in ABS-CBN’s 2019 training program ‘Star Hunt Academy,’ BINI has captured Southeast Asia with EDM-driven pop production and a blend of English and Tagalog lyrics. And as the first Filipino act to enter Spotify’s Top Artist Global Chart and to perform at the long-standing KCON festival, it’s no surprise they’ve been dubbed the ‘Nation’s Girl Group.

Meanwhile, the Grammys recognition is the latest addition to BINI’s growing list of adulations.
