The Buffalo Bills improved to 7-2 in dramatic fashion over their division-rivals, the Miami Dolphins. After Miami tied the game with less than two minutes left, the Bills drove to the 45 yard-line of the Dolphins and Tyler Bass kicked a 61-yard field goal to win the game. This was after Bass missed an extra point earlier in the game, and doinked in another PAT.

However, Buffalo showed their faith in him and it proved to be the right decision. Quarterback Josh Allen had a big game of his own, throwing three touchdown passes in what was his 13th career win over the Dolphins. When asked about Bass' kick, the star quarterback got visibly emotional.

"I'm just emotional for him," Allen said. He's been battling his ass off. Fighting adversity, you saw that today.

And to be there in the biggest moment and nail that for us - I'm so proud of him, I love that man. Everybody in our locker room loves and trusts him and I'm just happy it went in." Bass had been under a lot of scrutiny for his struggles this calendar year, dating back to the loss to the Kansas City Chiefs in the divisional round of the playoffs where he missed a game-tying field goal that could have kept the Bills' chances of winning alive.

However, the kick went wide and the Bills' season ended. So far this season, there seemed to be internal thoughts of moving on from Bass, as the Bills signed kicker Lucas Havrisik to their practice squad, but released him last week. Now with a kick like that, it appears Bass' job is safe.
