com/3Cl8iGgNnO It was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise horrible outing by the Buffalo Bills . The defense got dominated on the ground by Derrick Henry , the offense fell on its face with a trick play that went horribly wrong , and the Bills walked out of Baltimore with its first loss of the season in butt-kicking fashion. Shakir, though, proved to be a continuous source of joy for the Bills.
He once again lead the team in receiving yards with 62 on four catches, including a 52-yard scramble drill bomb from Allen as he was falling out of bounds. HOLY MOLY Josh Allen : #BUFvsBAL on NBC/Peacock : Stream on #NFLPlus pic.twitter.
com/Gr7sW3UkO0 The offense as a whole had it's worst performance of the season by far, scoring only 10 points on Sunday night. For a team that entered the game with one of the most efficient offenses in the league going against a Baltimore secondary that had been soft against the pass, it was a major let-down. Shakir has developed into Allen's go-to weapon, and is now up to 18 catches for 230 yards and two touchdowns on the season through the first four weeks.
The weapon continues to build his rapport with his star quarterback. Heading into next week, the Bills will travel to the Houston Texans , where Shakir should continue to serve as one of the top options in the Buffalo offense. Allen and company will look to put Sunday night's dud behind them and get back on track in Week 5.
