The Buffalo Bills stayed undefeated in dominant fashion on Monday night, as they defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars, 47-10. It was a nearly-flawless performance on both sides of the ball for the Bills, especially in the first half, where they outscored the Jaguars, 34-3. The game-sealing play came early in the fourth quarter, when veteran defensive end sacked quarterback Trevor Lawrence on fourth-and-goal to give the ball back over to the Bills' offense.
Gregory Fisher-USA TODAY Sports The sack may have been Miller's only tackle of the night, but it was also his third sack in three games to begin the season. That sack also moved Miller up to the No. 17 spot on the NFL's all-time sack leaders list.
This is the first time since 2021 that Miller has had at least one sack in each of the first three games. If Miller is able to somehow keep up his streak, he is on track to finish the season with 17 sacks, which would be the most he's had in a single season since 2012. Regardless of how Miller finishes the season, his consistent performances so far are a welcome sight for Bills Mafia after he suffered a torn ACL midway through the 2022 season.
While Miller did return and played 12 games in 2023, he did not look like the same player, as did not record a single sack.
