The accident occurred when he fell almost 500ft during a family trip near Barcelona. Despite his son Jonathan's quick action to call the emergency services, they were unable to save the 71-year-old while he was at the Collbato Caves in the mystical Montserrat mountains. Tony Ruiz, CEO of Mango, expressed profound loss in his statement: "It is with deep regret that we announce the unexpected death of Isak Andic, our non-executive Chairman and founder of Mango, in an accident that occurred this Saturday," adding that Isak's passing leaves a "huge void" in the Mango family.

He dedicated his life to Mango, leaving an indelible mark thanks to his strategic vision, his inspiring leadership and his unwavering commitment to values that he himself imbued in our company.
