The couple secretly split in July and are now officially ending their marriage. Andy released a statement about their separation.
He shared, "Billi and I have privately separated earlier this year and we are under way with our divorce proceedings. It has been a hard few months for our family and we continue to move forward amicably for our children." An insider told The Sun , providing more insight on the split: "Andy and Billi care about each other a lot and have made some great memories together, but decided it was best for the family if they went their separate ways having grown apart.
" The duo share three young ones, aged nine, six, and four. Plus, Andy has two older teens, aged 15, and 14, from another relationship. The source continued to focus on their commitment to their kids, saying, "They're still focusing on the kids and being the best parents they can be and being respectful of each other.
" They also mentioned that the former couple is aiming for a "straightforward" divorce process and noted Andy's dedication to his footballing life amid the change. Their 11-year relationship was not without controversy, and they nearly didn't .
