Pune: An electric scooter rider , identified as 25-year-old Ninad Talekar of Dhankawdi, died after he lost control of his two-wheeler, which crashed into a streetlight near Katraj Chowk on Katraj-Kondhwa road on Tuesday, said the police. “Before the crash, the scooter hit a pedestrian, Piyush Dharamvir Singh, who fractured his hand,” a Bharati Vidyapeeth police officer said. Sub-inspector Mohan Deshmukh of the Bharati Vidyapeeth police told TOI, “Talekar was going towards Khadi Machine Chowk from Katraj for some work when the accident took place.
