Chum Darang is a model, actress, social activist and entrepreneur from Pasighat of Arunachal Pradesh. She has won various beauty pageants and has worked in two popular films - Alia Bhatt's Gangubai Kathiawadi and Bhumi Pednekar's Badhaai Do. Darang has now entered as a contestant of Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 18.

Before she got locked up in the controversial house, Times Now/ Telly Talk India had gotten into an exclusive conversation with her to know more about her strategy, why she said yes to the show and much more. Excerpts from the conversation: What do you think is the most challenging part about being in the Bigg Boss house? I think sharing space is going to be tough because you won't get your personal space there. There will be people with whom you'll have to share everything—from the bathroom to the bed—everything.

That’s a challenge for me. Have you ever shared things like that before? No, never. Kitchen, bathroom, cleaning—it’s not something I deal with daily at home.

Even if I’ve done it before, it’s never been on such a large scale, not with so many people. If there are tasks to be done, I’ll have to do them. It will feel a bit strange, but I’ll manage.

There’s no option, so I’ll do it. What is the reason that you accepted this offer? I’ve been in Mumbai for the past six years, but people don’t know much about me or where I’m from. I see this as an opportunity to let people know that I come from a beautiful state, Arunachal Pradesh.

I.
