Ronan Keating has officially put down roots in Australia. The Irish singer, 47, recently moved from London to enjoy a quieter life down under with his Aussie-born wife, Storm Keating, and their two children, Cooper, seven, and Coco, four. While it’s unknown exactly where the family have moved to, Keating and his wife were spotted soaking up the sunshine at Bondi Beach this past week, after enjoying a holiday in northern NSW hotspot Byron Bay last month.
The former Boyzone member previously announced he would be relocating to Australia in August, after making the “very difficult decision” to quit his hit UK radio show, Magic Radio Breakfast Show, after seven years on-air. Saying he’d loved his lengthy stint hosting, Keating told listeners he now wanted to focus on “really important” memories with family which he’d “missed” over the years. Keating also has three adult children from his previous marriage to Yvonne Connolly – Jack, Ali and Missy – who he said would “pop in and out” visiting.
It makes sense Keating would choose Australia, as wife Storm, 43, was born and raised in the rural town of Childers, Queensland. The TV producer has worked on a number of local and British TV shows, including The Apprentice Australia, MasterChef Australia, The X Factor, The Voice Australia, and The Voice UK. Keating met Storm in 2011 while he was a judge on The X-Factor in Australia.
