I Immediately dropped what I was doing and headed over to the house. “Back in the day, I would keep tarps and stacks of wood — just in case — in my garage so when I showed up at his house, I had a ladder, tarps and the necessary materials to get his roof sealed off from the elements.

I also had called and arranged for him to stay at a hotel until such time things could be evaluated. I believe he, as well as his neighbors, were a little shocked that the insurance agent was climbing up on a roof and taking care of business.” Champaign born and raised, Tennant has been in the insurance business for 41 years and married to wife Judy for 40.
