Singer-songwriter Solange Knowles has revealed her ongoing struggle with multiple autoimmune disorders . Her ailments include postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS), Sjögren's syndrome, and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS) since 2018. The 38-year-old artist, sister to Beyoncé , shared her health journey in response to musician Shaun Ross's Instagram post about his own POTS diagnosis.

"Sending u so much love and strength Shaun and to all in the comments struggling with the debilitating, confusing, and lonely symptoms of POTS!" Knowles wrote. According to the Mayo Clinic, POTS affects the nervous system's regulation of blood flow, often causing dizziness and fainting when standing up. Sjögren's syndrome impacts the body's moisture-producing glands, while MCAS triggers frequent allergic reactions with symptoms ranging from swelling to severe respiratory issues.
