"The Hartshorn brothers took to us and put on a good partnership, but we were able to keep them to 190." Tim Hartshorn, a premiership player at CAW Provincial club North Albury, finished 93 not out from 97 deliveries, posting 15 boundaries, while Chris struck a neat 50 from only 49 balls with a six and eight fours. Chasing almost five runs per over is never easy, but Rafferty and Robinson started promisingly with an 84-run stand.

Robinson's 76 from 79 deliveries was majestic, hitting two sixes and eight boundaries, while Rafferty scored 44. The home team then lost 3-3, but 32 and 45 runs for the fourth and fifth wicket respectively meant the grand finalists had 13 balls to spare. Bethanga sits third, but Rafferty admits the catching needs work.
