The Olympics might be over but New York is ramping up for another major international sporting event later this month with the US Open kicking off from the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens. CourtClub , an up-and-coming tennis apparel brand, will cross over from the UK to bring their products in-person to Thompson Central Park. Spanning from Aug.

19 to Sept. 8, Parker’s — the hotel’s signature lobby bar — will transform into a complete tennis theme. There will be tennis-centric cocktails and more unique drinks available, such as the “Courtside Spritz.

” Burger Joint, located inside the hotel, will be streaming the US Open throughout the month. As they describe it on their website, “We use freshly butchered meat and hand-pressed burgers – No muss no fuss, New York’s #1 burger.” At Brookfield Place in Lower Manhattan, the Waterfront Plaza has been transformed into a center court for the ninth annual Brookfield Place Open .

Partnered with the Tennis Channel, this exciting event allows for open-court play and clinics. Bar Tontine is hosting US Open watch parties where there will be tennis-themed cocktails and bites offered. As their website describes it, “Bar Tontine is a marvel of design, featuring a 180-degree wraparound terrace that expands the space with stylish al fresco seating against the dramatic backdrop of the city skyline.

” In terms of the special tennis offerings, the match-point cocktail and tennis pistachio ice cream sandwich are just a few of the many special delicacies and drinks to come. All of these are terrific options for the most devoted or casual fan to enjoy the US Open experience without having to pay for a ticket to the gargantuan event..
