We've scouring the latest technology from IFA 2024 in Berlin, Germany and Newsweek has selected 15 standout products that should be on your radar in 2024 and beyond. From new drones like DJI's Neo Selfie Drone to Ecovacs' Deebot X8 family of robot vacuums to a host of AI announcements, we've seen a wide array of exciting announcements. While it takes place in Europe, IFA is a global showcase and most of these products will arrive in shelves in the United States.

Some of these products will be available to buy in the near future while others will debut in the months ahead. The 15 products we've selected for our Best of IFA awards include headphones, a projector, a rather impressive phone, and big name laptops from popular OEM's like Dell and Samsung. Ecovacs announced its new Deebot X8 family of robot vacuums which includes the Deebot X8 Pro.

The company's new robot boasts up to 12,900 Pa suction power for vacuuming which is on par with a regular vacuum. A new Zero Tangle 2.0 brush helps prevent debris from tangling up in the roller and brush.

There is also a second edge brush (TruEdge 2.0) to help keep corners of a room clean and tidy. It features the Ozmo Roller which applies up to 4,000 Pa downward pressure and 16 nozzles that spray water onto the mop which will keep it nice and clean as it does its job.

The new model offers AI-powered stain detection for re-mopping as needed. Also included is a new, smaller Omni Station. The robot's base of operations ensures the mop is cleaned with hot water and dried with hot air and the water tank and dustbin are emptied when needed.

We don't have a price point for the new family of vacuums yet and the products should land on shelves sometime next year. With a solid price point and a very capable camera, DJI's new Neo Selife drone is primed and ready for mass adoption. The Neo's primary purpose, as its name suggests, is for recording yourself.

Either for personal use or for social media. It can fly itself, meaning it doesn't require a controller (although you can pair it with DJI's RC-N3 Remote Controller), at the push of a button. It will follow a predetermined flight path, record at up to 4K at 30fps, and then return to your hand.

The device, which launched globally at IFA, is competitively priced at $199. We've seen a lot of AI-powered laptops at the show, but one of the more exciting products is Samsung's new Galaxy Book5 Pro 360. The device, which is a Copilot+ PC1 and Samsung's first in the all-new Galaxy Book5 series.

It features an array of AI features including Circle to Search with , Chat Assist, Live Translate, and Transcript Assist. Samsung says the device's software includes more than 300 AI-accelerated features across 100+ different apps. On the hardware side, it offers Intel's Core Ultra processors (Series 2), Intel's ARC GPU which improves graphical performance by 17%, and a Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with Vision Booster and 10-point multi-touchscreen.

It also has a slim and lightweight design which is a plus for those who want to get things done on-the-go. The Galaxy Book5 Pro 360 will be available in Canada, France, Germany, the UK and the U.S.

starting September. Bang & Olufsen is well known for its luxury audio products and the new Beoplay H100 are no exception. Priced at $1549, the H100's come with bells and whistles like a scratch-resistant glass touch interface located on the outside of the ear cups and lambskin leather ear pads.

Other luxuries include support for Dolby Atmos, adaptive audio that can monitor the fit of the headphones and adjust the sound accordingly, detachable headbands and ear pads, and high-end audio. The headphones include 40mm drivers which puts them in line performance-wise with high-end loudspeakers. They also support 96 kHz/24-bits.

B&O's H100's are available to buy right now. Nanoleaf has refreshed its popular smart lighting panels and the new Blocks are extremely impressive. The company's new Blocks system features thicker, and sturdier, block panels that come in two sizes.

The panels offer beautiful edge-to-edge lighting which helps to eliminate dark corners for a more cohesive look. What's more, the Blocks are highly customizable. This can be done with shelves, textured light panels, and pegboards.

The pegboards are fantastic if you want quick access to your keyboards or headphones. The modular design gives you a ton of freedom to create wall art and show off your favorite gadgets. Nanoleaf Blocks are currently up for pre-order and the product will start shipping in October.

Anker announced a slew of new accessories at IFA 2024, but the standout is the MagGo 3-in-1 foldable pad. The MagGo 3-in-1 features three wireless pucks that can charge an iPhone, Watch, and AirPods at the same time. The pucks include a Qi2-certified 15W charger, a 5W Apple Watch charger that's Apple-certified, and a 5W Qi charger where you will find the USB-C power input port.

The company's put a small table atop an air purifier and this can be used to charge Qi-compatible devices. It can also be used like a traditional table. The light below the platform is a nice touch.

It can help illuminate the room and add character to a room. The light comes in 10 different colors and it will change from green, blue, and red depending on air quality. Lest we forget its main purpose, the air purifier is extremely quiet (20Db) and air passes through three filters: carbon filter, HEPA filter, and a pre-filtration layer.

SwitchBot's Air Purifier Table is currently on pre-order for $269.99 and the company says it's expected to ship in mid-November. Honor's new Magic V3 is an extremely thin foldable phone that is set to arrive in Europe this summer following its release in China.

The eye-catching device unfortunately isn't coming to the United States which is disappointing given that it's one of the more impressive foldables we've come across. The most striking thing about Honor's device is its thinness. While many foldables, like Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold6 are fairly bulky, Samsung's new device is 12.

1mm when folded, the Magic V3 is just 9.2mm when folded. That, combined with features like its 7.

92-inch inner screen and 6.43-inch outer screen, a triple camera setup, and a huge battery, makes it appealing to smartphone shoppers who want to veer from traditional devices. Xgimi announced a new version of its ultrashort throw projector dubbed Aura 2.

The Aura 2 is both smaller and lighter (it's around 20 pounds) than its predecessor which makes it an excellent option for those who want to save space in their entertainment room. The projector is brighter, 2,300 ISO lumens versus the 1,800 ISO lumens produced by the original Aura. This is appealing for rooms where ambient light sneaks in.

According to Xgimi, the Aura 2 produces images between 90 and 150 inches and sound comes from four 15W Harman Kardon speakers. Also of note, the device features an automatic sliding cover on top which wards off dust and ensures the lens is clean. The Aura 2 retails for $2,699 and is available to buy right now.

IFA 2024 saw companies introduce several Steam Deck competitors but the standout for us is Acer's Nitro Blaze 7. The Acer Nitro Blaze 7 is the company's first foray into the handheld gaming segment and it offers some eye-popping features. The handheld has a 7-inch 1080p display with a variable refresh rate.

The company says it refreshes faster 144Hz which should make for a smooth gaming experience. There are two USB4 ports with one of them situated on the bottom of the device. It doesn't have a touchpad nor are there any back buttons like other handhelds.

Inside, there's a Ryzen 7 8840HS chip, 16GB of 7500 MT/s memory, a 50 watt-hour battery, up to 2TB of SSD storage. We don't have pricing or a release date for the Nitro Blaze 7 yet. TCL's new mid-range 50 Nxtpaper 5G smartphone feature a matte display which makes the screen easier on the eyes. The device features a button that puts the device into something TCL calls "Max Ink Mode." When the slider is used, the 50 Nxtpaper 5G is put into a monochrome mode that's very similar to e-ink.

With this mode active, battery life is extended (TCL says it can last up to a whopping seven days), notifications are silenced, and app icons change to mimic the e-ink style. There's a 6.8-inch 1080p screen with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 108-megapixel main camera, 5G connectivity, and 512GB of storage.

TCL plans to launch the device in Europe, but it's unclear if it will arrive in the United States. Reolink's new Atlas PT Ultra is an extremely impressive security camera that can be installed virtually anywhere and doesn't require any kind of subscription. The Atlas PT Ultra is Reolink's first battery-powered camera.

It doesn't need an outlet and it can continuously record for days at a time thanks to a massive 20,000mAh battery. 4K video is captured to a microSD card as opposed to the cloud. This is done at 15fps through the device's wide-angle lens.

The camera can pan (90 degrees vertically, 355 degrees horizontally) and full color night vision is a very nice perk. There's also two-way audio. The device will be available starting September 25th.

Govee's new AI Sync Box 2 is the company's latest ambient TV backlighting product. The Sync Box 2 delivers instant, and intelligent, game lighting to PC and gaming consoles. The device produces immersive AI lighting effects that respond to your gameplay.

The new version of the XPS 13 features Intel's updated Core Ultra processor (formerly known as Lunar Lake).

Dell says the upgrade will provide users with up to 26 hours of 1080p streaming at 150 nits of brightness. This is up from 18 hours. Keep in mind, this is for the model with lower-resolution FHD+ (1900 x 1200) and not the tandem OLED model which should get 14 hours.

We should also see enhanced gaming and AI experiences thanks to the processor upgrade and a more powerful NPU (neural processing unit). The new XPS 13 is available to pre-order right now with a starting configuration price of $1,400..
