Below Deck Mediterranean Season 9 saw some serious new drama unfold amongst the crew aboard the Mustique, but one particular feud is now being labeled by other cast members as a “villain origin story.” Feuds are nothing new on the Bravo show, with even the legendary captains of the ships getting scooped up in drama, and while some felt there was absolutely “soul-crushing” upset this time around , it was nothing compared to what occurred during an unexpected love triangle. While one person is now owning up to their mistakes and extending an olive branch, it hasn’t stopped her from becoming the newest person labeled as a “villain” on the long-running show.

It was there that the two both declared they felt Ellie was portrayed in a way that gave her the “villain” edit.



The drama began when Bri and Joe shared a kiss on the show, even though Ellie had made it clear she had a crush on him–though she and Joe also had their own makeout session later on. In the after show , Kate and Aesha shared they were both “Team Bri” in the whole thing though, after Aesha admitted she felt Ellie was “too used” to getting what she wanted. “You could see Ellie looking at Bri and being like, ‘I’m taller, I’m blonder, I’m slimmer.
