The opening night at a much-loved Indian restaurant's new site has gone down a storm. Lagan opened on Chorley New Road, Horwich, tonight (November 13) after moving out of its former premise in Broadgate, Ladybridge, in September. One of the area's most popular curry haunts, Lagan is celebrating the new-look restaurant with new additions to the menu, and punters couldn't have been more pleased.

(Image: Andy Morgan) Manager, Raj Das, said: "It's opening night, so I'm very excited but also a little apprehensive as it's a new place. Raj Das (Image: NQ) "We've just been getting around to doing the final tweaks and it's been lovely. "A lot of people who have shown up are customers we had when we were in Ladybridge so it's fantastic to see some of them again as, you can imagine.

"We want to make a good impression on Horwich so that people come to try the food, we've been working on improving the older dishes as well," Raj added.
