The unique proposal took place on October 27 at Copes Lookout in Kirribilli, a location famous for its breathtaking views of Sydney Harbour. Footage of the proposal, shared on the Personalised Proposals & Co Instagram account, shows the woman dressed in red, leading her blindfolded boyfriend to the lookout, which was decorated with flowers, candles, and a romantic table for two. As the boyfriend removed his blindfold, he was shocked to see his girlfriend kneeling with an open ring box in her hand.

She asked him to marry her, and he bent down to kiss her. Still kneeling, she placed the ring on his finger, and they exchanged a few more words before embracing as the sun set over Sydney Harbour. But despite the woman's incredible gesture, many Aussies felt that the man should have been the one to propose.
