Beatrice Gomez is getting serious about improving her golf skills! On Instagram, the Miss Universe Philippines 2021 shared photos from her first golf trip to picturesque Baguio, a popular destination for golf enthusiasts due to its scenic courses and cool climate. In the post, the beauty queen could be seen in chic sportswear as she played golf at Baguio Country Club. “First among many golf trips to come,” Beatrice said in the caption.
Beatrice made history as the first openly gay Miss Universe Philippines. She competed in the international pageant in 2021 and finished in the Top 5 . In an interview with GMA News Online, Beatrice expressed her stance of supporting the new set of guidelines in Miss Universe, including removing the age limit for candidates and allowing wives, mothers , and transwomen to compete in the pageant.
