Maybe you can’t shut off your brain, you’re experiencing heart palpitations, or find it difficult to sleep, or perhaps you lack motivation? You could be suffering from burnout. A relatively recent concept, burnout was first identified by the American psychologist, Herbert Freudenberger, in the late 1970s.
