The dancer, 35, who hails from Australia, is gearing up for the upcoming series of the BBC dance competition, set to hit screens in September. However, Dianne's busy schedule means she misses important occassions with her family.

Taking to Instagram , the Strictly pro shared a screenshot of her on FaceTime to members of her family, who were celebrating a third birthday party. uk in 2022, she said: "I’ve been here now six years and that’s gone very quickly. One weird thing, I suppose, is that I just go, ‘Wow, I'm actually so far away from where I was born’. "Then I think, 'Oh my god, like, of all the places I now am living!' The UK is a full 24 hour plane ride away from my hometown,” Dianne added.

"And obviously my family are all so far away from me. But I must say, I do love the UK and I do love all the people here and I love my job here so, yeah, I really enjoy the UK.".
