Strictly Come Dancing star Chris McCausland is totally unrecognisable in his forgotten Cbeebies role. The stand-up comedian, who regularly appears on panel shows like Would I Lie To You and sitcoms including Not Going Out, got his big break in the kids’ TV show Me Too!, in which he starred as market trader Rudi from 2006 until 2007. Set in the town of Riverseafingal, Chris was known for his bright yellow and gold clothes, singing plenty of cheeky songs and educating children on everything from littering to healthy eating.

Reddit fans who are only just discovering his breakout role couldn’t believe what they were seeing, and took to the forum to share their thoughts. One posted: “Absolute legend.” While someone else joked: “It would be hilarious if he redid the routine now.
