The Chinese dancer, 31, has been a member of the Strictly cast since 2022 and danced with Molly Rainford and Angela Scanlon.

Carlos struck up a firm friendship with his celebrity partners and recently jetted off on holiday with presenter Angela, 40. Sharing a photo from their trip away, Carlos took an opportunity to gush about the friendship they forged on the show and insisted “nothing is perfect” behind the scenes. In a post to his Instagram Story, Carlos wrote: “Nothing is perfect, if you accept good then bad is in the package, that’s life!!! function loadOvpScript(){let el=document.

(Image: Instagram Carlos Gu) It comes after Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima exited the show ahead of its 20th anniversary over allegations about their teaching methods. Giovanni’s 2023 partner, Amanda Abbington , withdrew from the competition in week five and complained about the Italian dancer’s behaviour.

Speaking to the Sun on Sunday, the Sherlock actress, 50, said: "I found Giovanni's behaviour unnecessary, abusive, cruel and mean. I couldn't sit back and let him do that to other people. "I had to think long and hard about making a complaint because I knew the backlash I would get.

But I would not have been able to live with myself for future people going on that show. "I know what happened in that room, it's on video and I have no problem with anyone seeing that. It's a duty of care that is needed.

" Trending Giovanni, 33, has rejected "any suggestion of abusive or threatening behaviour" and said in a statement on Instagram in June that he is "cooperating fully" with an ongoing " BBC investigation". Graziano, 30, confirmed last weekend that he was also leaving the BBC show after claims about his treatment of reality star Zara McDermott when they competed together last year. The Italian star said in a statement that he deeply regrets "the events that led to my departure from Strictly".

Earlier in the week, his spokesman Mark Borkowski confirmed that Mr Di Prima kicked the Love Island star during rehearsals. He added to the PA news agency that the dancer had been left "in a very vulnerable state" following his sacking. The BBC has confirmed it will introduce measures to "strengthen welfare and support" on the show, including a chaperone who will be present "at all times" during training room rehearsals.
