Chris McCausland has said there's 'lots that can go wrong' during his latest performance on Strictly Come Dancing. The comedian is set to do a jive to the Wayne's World Theme for the BBC dance show's annual Movie Week special alongside partner Dianne Buswell. It comes after Chris, who is Strictly's first blind contestant, and Dianne received a standing ovation from the live audience for their foxtrot on Saturday night (September 28) to Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy by The Tams, picking up an impressive 29 points.
But as he prepared for his next performance, Chris reflected on his routines so far, created by Dianne, and mentioned what could go wrong in his next performance. Our first dance to Twist and Shout by The Beatles had a lot that could go wrong.
Our desire to surprise everybody meant that there were a number of set pieces that felt like showstoppers, lifts or tricks that if they went wrong would bring the whole dance to a rather clumsy and embarrassing end." He later added: "Dianne’s trust in my abilities is immense, and my trust in her is likewise. I would honestly try to catch her from a great height whilst riding a unicycle if she asked me to, although I really hope she doesn’t.
"This coming week it is Movie Week, and we will be swapping last week’s.
