Strictly Come Dancing's Michelle Tsiakkas has faced a fresh blow as she was disqualified from this year's pro challenge. The 29 year old, who recently left the show with partner Jamie Borthwick following a dance-off, suffered further disappointment on Wednesday's It Takes Two. During the segment, it was revealed that she had been eliminated from the professional dancers' contest.

In the challenge, the Strictly professionals were to perform as many Cha Cha Cha time steps as they could in 30 seconds. While seated on the BBC It Takes Two sofa alongside host Janette Manrara and fellow pro Katya Jones, Michelle learned her outcome in the competition. Unfortunately, the news wasn't positive.

Janette announced that although Michelle executed 11 moves, none counted due to incorrect footwork. A disheartened Michelle said: "I'm heartbroken," as reported by the Mirror. Katya also experienced disappointment; of her 17 steps, only three were considered correct, reports the Manchester Evening News .
