Strictly Come Dancing bosses have reportedly axed the annual wrap party which takes place in Blackpool every year. Over the weekend, the BBC competition was back at the iconic Blackpool Tower Ballroom for its dazzling 20th anniversary year. Every year, for one week only, Strictly's magic gets bigger than ever filling the Tower Ballroom.

Blackpool – a legendary landmark in the ballroom dance world – welcomed the Strictly Come Dancing celebrities and professional dancers, who all put on a spectacular show as they all performed on legendary dance floor. Sadly, it was Wynne Evans and Katya Jones' time to bid farewell to the competition as they were voted out by the judges, Shirley Ballas , Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Anton Du Beke. While the celebrities and pro dancers were able to enjoy a huge wrap party after their week in Blackpool, this year, bosses were forced to axe the annual tradition after a string of scandals.

Instead of a designated location for the Strictly team to enjoy a private wrap party after their fun-filled week up North, they took their celebrations to an area in the Holiday Inn hotel where the celebrities, pros and crew were staying for the duration of their time in Blackpool. The party in the Holiday Inn appeared to be a success, however, as the celebrities and professional dancers stayed up until all hours after a boozy night of celebrations. JLS star JB Gill was pictured outside the establishment as he took a moment for some air while sippin.
