Casualty: Cam hands in his resignation to Siobhan Casualty 's Cam Mickelthwaite (Barney Walsh) reached his breaking poing tonight and fans of the long running BBC medical drama are extremely worried about him. He handed in his resignation following an encounter with the mysterious Bobby who has been hanging around in recent weeks and although Siobhan refused to accept it and asked him to take two weeks off instead. The young nurse later broke down in tears.

Last week a face from Cam's past Bobby had claimed that Jamie Cleveland (Ryan Hawley) had raped him. The accusation clearly had an effect on Cam. In the latest instalment he met up with Bobby and was obviously anxious as he stammered over his words.

Cam took refuge with new Holby board member and old friend Jamie after his home was damaged in the storm and Bobby queried why he had slept with the light on leading Cam to get defensive about being followed home. And I think he did it to you too.

Why else would you sleep with the light on?" Bobby implored, holding back tears. "If you won't admit it then I need you to at least say that you believe me," he pleaded. "It was Jamie who encouraged me to apply to law school.

"He said that he saw potential in me. He was the only one who ever did and that felt good. I loved camp with him.

I would always sleep in his tent." He went on to distressingly reveal details of what happened as Cam became increasingly agitated before walking out. Don't miss.

We can fix each other. If we get justice we can bring him down. I'll keep coming back until you tell the truth.

I will haunt you. I will haunt you like he haunts me. It was all too much for Cam who has been having a tough time professionally as well as personally of late.

He returned to the hospital and handed in his resignation. However Siobhan McKenzie (Melanie Hill) sensed there was more to it and refused to accept it. She advised him to take two weeks off and see if he still felt the same, leaving a forlorn Cam to break down upon leaving her office.

Sensing there was more to his desire to leave she started making enquiries about Jamie. But will she get to the bottom of what happened and prove Cam and Bobby's saviour?
