BBC Breakfast has reminded viewers that the clocks will go back tonight at 2am, though Charlie Stayt shared one reason he still feels “anxious” about it. Charlie discussed the end of British Summer Time with weather presenter Matt Taylor as he hosted the morning news show with Naga Munchetty this morning (Saturday 26th October). He remarked to Matt that the process of turning back the clocks got “a lot simpler” when our devices started doing it automatically.
“When you’re working early you want something to do it automatically,” Matt agreed. However, he admitted, “You have that stress of thinking, ‘is it? Isn’t it? Is it? Isn’t it?’ “So at least when you did it yourself you knew where you were.” Charlie then went on to confess: “I still don’t altogether trust things.
..” and Naga concurred.
