BBC Breakfast: Jon Kay asks Carol Kirkwood 'where are you?' BBC Breakfast turned slightly chaotic this week as presenters Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt interviewed a pair of Olympians. Gold medallist shooter Nathan Hales and his double Olympian wife Charlotte Kerwood were chatting via video-link from their home, and were joined by their baby daughter Hattie – who caused chaos when she toddled off-screen. Hearing sneezes off-camera, Naga chimed in to say: “Hattie, bless you, by the way!” as Charlie begged: “Where’s Hattie gone? Is she all right? Where’s she gone?” Charlotte explained: “She’s just having a little wander!” as Naga said: “Good for her.

” Despite Hattie babbling away in the background, the interview went well – and Naga was loving the tot’s presence on-screen. She joked: “Can I just say, Hattie seems rather unimpressed with both of you. Oh no she likes the medal! How’s Hattie taking it all in? She hasn’t got a clue, has she, really?” Nathan revealed: “No she’s not got a clue at all. She’s very busy and into everything at the moment. We were still hoping for her to be in bed at this time but she surprised us with an early morning wake-up.

It’s just ideal because she’s completely upstaging all of you.”.
