BBC Breakfast 's Jon Kay shared some breaking news live on air during the latest broadcast of the morning show. Jon was back on the famous red sofa alongside Sally Nugent as they woke up the nation with the latest headlines from across the globe. He told viewers: "Some breaking news this morning because we're hearing that a DHL cargo plane has crashed near Vilnius airport in Lithuania.
Police say the plane came down as it was coming in to land. One person has been killed and three others have been injured." As video footage appeared on screen, he continued: "These pictures we've been getting in show a large police presence and ambulance persons nearby.
"Several streets have bene cordoned off and firefighrers have been water onto a large building that is surrounded by smoke. We'll bring you more details when you get them." It comes after Jon made a blunde while presenting the show last week.
While discussing how a group of care home residents had brewed their own beer, the presenter explained: "A group of care home residents in Bristol are taking a glass half full approach to life and it's all down to beer, sounds good."
